David Masur Ph.D.

David Masur, Ph.D., A.B.P.P.
Dr. Masur is a Clinical Professor of Neurology and the Director of Neuropsychology in the Department of Neurology. He holds a Diplomate in Clinical Neuropsychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. He has authored or co-authored a number of seminal papers on the prediction of the development of dementia, where he was a co-investigator on the Bronx Aging Study. Overall, he has authored some 30 papers and 5 book chapters. For the past six years, he has been actively involved in epilepsy research, and has been a co-investigator on studies involving the relationship of febrile seizures and future cognitive and social performance in children. In addition, Dr. Masur maintains an active clinical practice, with particular interest in the assessment of children and adults with seizure disorders.
