Linda Lightstone, MSW, CSW
Ms. Linda Lightstone is a Senior Social Worker in the Comprehensive Epilepsy Management Center at Montefiore Medical Center. Ms. Lightstone has worked with patients with neurological disorders for more than 20 years, with a special interest in patients with epilepsy. She currently works as part of our multidisciplinary team to provide a range of services to patients with epilepsy and their families. She performs psychosocial assessment of our patients and offers short term and long term counseling around issues of coping with epilepsy.
Ms. Lightstone's research interests are focused around how epilepsy has affected members of the primary family unit. Ms. Lightstone is a member of many professional organizations and is currently a member of the Professional Advisory Board of Epilepsy Institute of New York. She is very interested in meeting with and speaking with organizations, schools and parent groups in helping them develop a better understanding of epilepsy.
