Sheryl Haut, M.D.
Sheryl Haut, M.D., M.S. is Assistant Professor of Neurology and the Director of Neurology Residency Training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She received her M.D. from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She trained in neurology at SUNY Downstate/Kings County, and trained in clinical neurophysiology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She recently received a Masters in Clinical Research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (in neurology and added qualifications in clinical neurophysiology).
Dr. Haut has a large clinical practice in adult epilepsy, and a number of ongoing clinical research projects. She is the principal investigator for an NIH funded project which is examining precipitants of seizures in adults with epilepsy, particularly clustered seizures. She is also examining the effects of stress on seizures, and exploring potential alternative.
