The Pediatric Emergency Department is exclusively dedicated to children and features:

• Over 9,000 square feet of clinical space
• Separate Pediatric ambulance and walk-in entrances
• Separate Pediatric triage, registration and waiting areas
• Separate Pediatric social work office
• 14 monitored treatment areas:
  • 3 bed resuscitation area
  • 2 orthopedic treatment rooms
  • 2 gynecologic rooms with shared bathroom
  • 1 psychiatric treatment room with anteroom, bathroom and holding area
  • 2 isolation rooms
  • 4 regular treatment rooms
• 3 bed holding area with monitors
• Asthma treatment suite with up to 13 treatment stations
• Consult / Grieving room
• New axial CT scanner
• Radiology room
