  • Pediatric and adult epileptologists
  • Neuropsychologists
  • Neuropsychiatrists
  • Neurosurgeons
  • Social workers
  • Case managers
  • Clinical nurse specialists
  • Support staff that includes highly dedicated nurses and EEG technologists.

Pioneering treatment from a highly skilled staff

Our expert staff members make use state-of-the-art equipment to provide cutting edge, family-centered care. And in just a few years, our ability to complete nuanced diagnoses of the underlying neurological disorders contributing to a variety of chronic conditions, from epilepsy to autism, and to monitor children as they undergo treatment, has helped us to establish an international reputation for outstanding achievement. We have made major breakthroughs in the prognosis and treatment of childhood seizure disorders and the relationship between epilepsy and autism and language disorders.

The Sleep Disorders Center is one of the only full-service sleep laboratory and evaluation centers in the region that is exclusively dedicated to treating children. It allows us to offer highly specialized diagnosis and treatment for children with a full range of neurological disorders, such as narcolepsy, as well as pediatric sleep disorders caused by respiratory problems.

Compassionate, family-centered care

We understand that parents and other adult caregivers can play an important role during the diagnosis and treatment of children with neurological disorders, and we encourage them to take an active role while their child is at the center and throughout their treatment. The presence of caregivers not only comforts children during diagnostic tests,  but also helps doctors to make the most accurate diagnosis possible and evaluate the success of ongoing treatment, based on the information they can provide. Our doctors and their support staff, including nurses and psychologists are also committed to educating parents about the causes that contribute to neurological disorders and how these conditions will impact children during all stages of their development, as well as continuing to tailor our approach as the child grows.
