Herbert J. Cohen, MD, Director, CERC; Developmental Pediatrician
Dr. Herbert Cohen is an internationally known expert in developmental disabilities. He is Professor of Pediatrics and Rehabilitation Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Director of both CERC and the federally funded University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. He has been Vice Chairman of the President’s Committee on Mental Retardation, President of the American Association of Centers on Disability, and Chairman of both the national American Academy of Pediatrics’ Section on Child Development and the Committee on Children with Disabilities.

Dr. Cohen has been cited many times in New York magazine and other publications as one of the "Best Doctors in New York".
