The Division of Adolescent Medicine provides high-quality clinical care for adolescents and young adults aged 13 through 20 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Faculty members provide consultation in adolescent gynecology, menstrual disorders, behavior, osteoporosis and eating disorders, as well as primary care.
The Division is home to the nationally known Adolescent AIDS Program, which provides clinical care as well as access to clinical trials and research studies, along with outreach and prevention programs.
For more than a quarter century Montefiore has played a pioneering role in the development of age-appropriate healthcare for teenagers in the United States and around the world.
Our team of physicians, nurses and social workers is committed to helping teens stay healthy and providing high-quality, compassionate care for those with illness through clinical care, education and research.
We work closely with other specialists to coordinate care for youth with complex chronic conditions.
We offer confidential health services to young people and we are equally committed to working with both teens and their parents to maximize communication within the family.
