Raising Resilient Kids in Times of Crisis

Raising Resilient Kids In Times of Crisis: Are your kids really as shaken up by world crises as many people think they are?  Maybe not!  Many parents worry that events like September 11th, the Iraqi war and the SARS epidemic have severely traumatized their kids, and the airwaves are filled with advice about how to counteract their fears and reduce their anxiety.  But the experts and kids we spoke to had a very different perspective.  They said it might not be as bad as you think - and they had some very helpful advice about how to raise your kids to be strong and resilient, so they can handle whatever confronts them in the future!  Host Dr. Winnie King talks to some of the country's leading child trauma experts, and to the kids themselves, to find out what you should to do to keep your kids calm and resilient.
