Outcomes Research
- The Aristotle score, used as a measure of quality of care, is used worldwide to measure the risks of congenital heart surgery. Introduced by François Lacour-Gayet, MD, the Aristotle score is used in the American and European databases at the Society for Thoracic Surgeons and at the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery. The ongoing research objective is to enrich and to upgrade the Aristotle score.
