The Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) is part of a larger Child Health Network of primary care and family practice sites located throughout the community, and unique outpatient and community-based programs structured to meet all of a child's physical and emotional needs.
By serving as the clinical and academic hub of this regional pediatric health system, CHAM provides the children of the Bronx, Southern Westchester County and the surrounding region with the finest, most accessible health care services.
The new Children's Hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals for children in the world. The ten floors of our hospital include a children's emergency department, intensive-care facilities, a full-floor day hospital, a multi-disciplinary floor for communication disorders, one of the largest pediatric dialysis wings in the area, an integrated pediatric asthma treatment center, and regional programs for children with heart and kidney disease.
